Samantha Barthelemy is a Senior Advisor at the National Network for Safe Communities. Before starting at NNSC, Samantha served as senior advisor in Rio de Janeiro’s government, where she directed citywide initiatives and violence prevention interventions; she also worked as a journalist and consultant for the United Nations. When Samantha isn’t working hard at NNSC, you’ll find her exploring the
