Simone Charles is the Director, Employee Resources & Staff Development for the National Network for Safe Communities.
Before starting at the National Network for Safe Communities, Simone has worked at OUIDAD, as a HR Manager. She worked with the CFO, President, and Directors to deliver core HR services. She was responsible for advising and leading the company on compensation, benefits, recruiting, organizational structure, employee engagement, employment law, and team building for both NY/LA salons & the corporate office. Ms. Charles has extensive consultative HR experience in various industries that include corporate retail, non-profit, architecture, IT, substance abuse, and mental health disorders.
Simone believes that with such diverse industry knowledge and varied experience successful strategic HR approaches can thrive in any organizational culture.
Ms. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from SUNY Old Westbury and an MBA in Management from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus.
