Jaime Ortiz-Aub is a Senior Advisor of the National Network for Safe Communities (NNSC). Before starting at NNSC, Jaime worked over 25 years for the Mexican Government in matters related to criminal justice, law enforcement and public safety in the national and international arena, supporting matters related to legal proceedings and international assistance. He served as one of Mexico’s Attachés in Washington, DC, San Diego and Los Angeles, California and El Paso, Texas, strengthening law enforcement cooperation among the United States and Mexico.
While at NNSC, Jaime supported our work in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, and now contributes to our work in some U.S. cities and territories. He believes in helping people to succeed in their lives and in doing every effort to make communities safer.
Jaime holds a juris doctor degree, a Master’s in Public Administration, a specialization in constitutional law, public policies and several other trainings in criminal law and foreign policy.
