Alexis Acevedo is a Senior Research Advisor at the National Network for Safe Communities. Before starting at NNSC, Alexis interned at NNSC and did volunteer work on re-entry for formerly incarcerated individuals. When Alexis is not working hard at NNSC, you will find him enjoying the outdoors or reading a good true crime novel.
Alexis holds a BA and MA from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate at the CUNY Graduate Center in Criminal Justice.
