Nick is a Field Advisor for the National Network for Safe Communities. Before starting at NNSC, Nick was a police officer with the Madison Police Department, and then became the COO/Program Manager of Focused Interruption, a small community violence intervention non-profit in Madison, WI. Nick lives in Madison with his family and can be found at the park playing with his kids when not working hard for NNSC.
Nick, holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Crown School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago specializing in the administration of community violence intervention programs.
